Aeronautical Studies
AAG has the expertise to assess and recommend on all issues relating to aerodromes. Whether it is a feasibility study on movement area extensions, operational assessment of existing obstacles or proposed structures on or in the vicinity of an aerodrome, or an examination of any issue that may affect the operation of aircraft at a particular facility, AAG is able to provide clients with a timely and professional service.
At the completion of a study AAG can assist in the design of a facility as well as overseeing any implementation program.
Procedures Development
Our staff can develop or assess operational procedures specific to your operation. Whether it is the implementation of new facilities or a review of current procedures AAG is able to analyse the information, identify your needs and develop a useable procedure for inclusion in a regulatory manual or as a stand alone document.
Emergency Exercises
To meet regulatory obligations AAG is able to create and run Aerodrome Emergency Exercises to suit specific aerodromes. These exercises can take the form of a Tabletop Exercise or a full Field Exercise.
Drafting Services
AAG uses AutoCAD to enable it to compile aerodrome related drawings that include:
Apron parking plans including setout and wingtip trace drawings designed around one or more critical aircraft
Runway, taxiway and apron marking plans
Facilities plans that display all of the facilities at an aerodrome
ICAO type obstacle charts
Crash maps
